May 29, 2008, Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club - Korean national Ryoo Si Kun won the Cavite Economic Zone - 2008 Golf Championship held last May 29th at Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club in Gen. Trias, Cavite. Mr. Ryoo finished with 76-7-69 followed by a fellow Korean national Kang Chun Kwang with 85-14-71 in Class A division.

RC CEPZ PHF William McCaw won the Class B division with 88-16-72 followed by Butch Lee with 90-18-72. In Class C division the championship went to  Ed Quito with a score of 94-21-73 and Park Dong Seung followed behind with 96-22-74.

The Cavite Economic Zone Open has been an annual fund raising project of Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone to support the various service projects of the club for Rotary year 2008-2009. This year's tournament sponsors include the following:
