With an area of 276 hectares, this once agricultural land has blossomed into a highly industrialized region. Located approximately 30 kilometers from Manila, this Zone although almost fully occupied remains on top of any investor's list of viable location for an enterprise.

As of December, 1999, there are 220 actively operating companies. These companies employ a total of 62,000 Management and Production workers. Aside from this, an estimated 4,500 others are employed by brokers, banks, security agencies, canteens, sub-contractors and other offices doing business inside the Zone.

Over a period of three years, the Cavite Economic Zone has an average Net Trade balance of US$ 246 million.

"I believe that the achievements of the Rotary Club of CEPZ for the past years are very exceptional. I am fortunate that past RC-CEPZ Presidents have laid down a sturdy foundation for the projects and plans we have drawn up for this Rotary Year, and for that I am grateful."

"But on the other hand, these post a challenge to at least equal or surpass their achievements. But as Pres. Ramir once said one person cannot do it alone, we all need to work hand in hand to achieve our goals and realize our objective."
